Teachers Participate in Gardening Worshops

Thumbs at Castlen Elementary are turning a bit greener thanks to the efforts of Jane Hartselle and James Miles of the Mobile County Extension Service and Luci Davis of the Alabama Junior Master Gardeners Program. Teachers participated in a two-day workshop, learning the basics of gardening as well as becoming familiar with the Junior Master Gardeners and 4-H programs. Students are becoming Junior Master Gardeners and members of Castlen 4-H clubs and enjoying the outdoor classroom. Congratulations to all!
