Parents and Grandparents Donate Books to Media Center in Honor of Castlen Cubs

     Thanks to the generosity of Castlen parents and grandparents and the bright idea of fourth grade teacher and media intern, Lisa Overstreet, the media center has obtained 50 new titles supporting investigations in the outdoor classroom. On Monday, October 19, parents and grandparents honored their special Castlen cubs by choosing books on display during Parenting Day, donating the costs for the books, and writing special messages for the inside front covers. Pictures of the honored Castlen cubs will be affixed to the inside front covers of the selected titles. Honored students will be the first to check out the donated titles. Castlen students will certainly benefit from these outstanding contributions to the Castlen media center collection.
